My name is Christina and I'm a stay at home mom to a 1 & 1/2 year old son! I'm 28 years old. It's not easy for me to find time to sew during the day, so my husband helps me get time on the weekends or sometimes in the evening to work on projects. My house is filled with items I made myself from curtains to pillows to wall decor. I love colorful and unique fabric whether it's vintage or modern. I have been making pillows for fun for years. I don't have a "studio" to work in, and I use our small round dining table for sewing and projects. I don't have many tips for organization because I am still struggling with that one myself! :)

I opened The Cozy Nest in May of this year for my sewn items and pillows. I have another shop, coffeeandcream.etsy.com, that I opened last October. I have jewelry for sale there. I think separating the pillows and jewelry into different shops really helped me get more exposure for my pillows.

Things that are important to me while operating my shops are affordability, prompt shipping, and good communication with customers. I am very happy I decided to open a shop on Etsy last fall. It has challenged me to be even more creative!
