My shop is simplicity and it's filled with simple, no-fuss items. I get inspiration from pretty much anything, especially fun patterned papers.

I am starting to work on various kits (gift wrapping, scrapbooking, card making) and party pack (invitations, thanks you notes, cake toppers, gift tags, banners).

Right now my shop is filled with a bunch of wonderful holiday paper goods and there are more being posted soon.

Box after box of photographs. Vacations, holidays, weddings, birthdays and just because pictures. What is one to do with all those pictures? I scrap them. Over the years I have made calendars for my family to give as gifts at Christmas. The joy and laughter is so rewarding. These pictures will be cherished forever. I add some journaling, but most of the journaling is completed by the recipient. At the end of the year, family members return the calendars to me and I then scrap them into a 12 x 12 memory album and add more embellishments and papers. These albums are then returned as another gift for birthdays or Mother’s Day.

I have been a member of Etsy since November, 2009. I wanted to offer supplies that I use to create with to other creative artists. You can find stickers, ribbons, brads, buttons, rub-ons, stencils, punches, tools and many other crafting supplies. These supplies can be used for memory albums, cards, invitations, sewing, and many other crafting projects. You will also find craft supplies for children. They need to be creative too.

My work area is still under construction, but I moved in anyway. I guess you could say I had ants in my pants.

I also do plastic canvassing to relax in the evenings when time allows.I am also a member of Eagle Team in Eagle, Wisconsin, USA. Enter the words ' shop team eagle ' in search when you shop in Advanced Search & the offerings from my fellow Team Eagle members will pop up! Shop local! Information on members of The Eagle Team is easily found on our blog theeagleteamshops.blogspot.com

I LOVE to Sew

Fabric Greetings is a great Etsy shop that features specialty handmade fabric cards. She shares..." for me, sewing is the greatest form of relaxation. I have done other crafts, but I always come back to the sewing machine. I just need to sew! I also teach for local quilt shops and fabric store. Fortunately, I have a loving and supportive husband who understands this. And he knows exactly where to put the sewing machine when we pack the car for vacation.I love sending cards - all kinds of cards for no special reason. So I started making these fabric postcards as a way of letting someone know they are special. No two cards are exactly alike, just as no two people are exactly alike. I have sort of made it my mission to convince people to send a card that fits the person receiving it."  Enjoy a visit to her wonderful Etsy shop

I am a retired teacher who thinks she was born with a sewing machine at her finger tips. I LOVE to sew and I love to send cards to family and friends. So when I discovered these fabric postcards, I knew I had found something that I would enjoy doing. It is my mission to convince people to send special one of a kind cards to special people. We aren't mass produced, so why settle for a mass produced greeting card.

I am lucky enough to have a huge sewing studio that could easily get out of hand. So I have cubbies for the colors of fabrics I work with, many hanging spool racks to keep threads organized and off table tops, and a drawer unit devoted entirely to the embellishments and cording for my cards. My counter height cutting surface is always a disaster, but I have learned to work with that. The best thing about all this is that it is on the second floor of our home and nobody ever needs to go up there except us.

My only advice to those starting out is to find something that you are passionate about and go for it.
Life is too short to not enjoy yourself.

New Art from Recycled Goods

Have a look at this lovely Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/juleseveland . She is an avid cardmaker and scrapbooker, and likes to discover new ways to make artwork out of recycled goods. Best wishes for a successful year!

by juleseveland

I create greeting cards of all types and sizes, and can personalize each card to the likeness of the customer. I have been making cards and other paper crafts for the last eight years now, and have loved every minute of it! My sister and I often get together to create cards, handmade envelopes, and tags for Craft Fairs, etsy, friends, and various buyers. I also create magazine bowls which can take hours to make, but the end process is worth it!

My craft studio is in a spare bedroom of my house, and can be a chore to keep organized, but I know where everything is…almost. If anyone feels that crafting can be expensive, there can be ways to work around this- rummaging through garage sale deals and thrift stores is one of them. I have found my best deals at local garage sales! A favorite quote of mine is “Don’t think it, create it”!

Studio Haus Photography and Creative Projects

Adrienne opened her Etsy shop in March and loves the opportunity Etsy provides her to share her creativity. Enjoy looking at her many creative projects http://www.studiohaus.etsy.com/.
She also shares that she was involved in her first fair last week! Best wishes Adrienne on your Etsy shop!

by StudioHaus

My name is Adrienne and I opened StudioHaus this past March and have been loving the outlet that Etsy has provided me ever since! I think my passion for being creative has been with me since the day I was born. As a child, I spent summers with my grandparents in a small town in Oklahoma. My Grannie would crochet and do creative projects with me while my Papa would take me in his wood shop and help me create anything that I could think up. They are a lot of the inspiration when I’m out taking photos because they really taught me to appreciate all the little things. I think I really discovered that my biggest creative passion was photography when I worked at a portrait studio for about three years. However, I love to dabble in lots of creative projects and try my hand at many things. That’s the reason you will see a variety of items from photography prints to handcrafted envelopes and cards in my shop!
