by Emele Photography
Hello! I'm Emily although I go by Emele in all of my online places. Emele is a combination of my first name and middle name... I'll let you guess what my middle name might be!!

I'm English but have spent 6 years living on the Greek island of Crete - That's why you'll see a lot of prints with that special mediterranean feel in my Etsy store! Right now I split my time between both countries - Summer in England, Winter in Crete... The best of both worlds!

I've been into photography since about 2004, I fell into it by accident when I got my first digital camera.
Before that the only photos I took were snapshops at Christmas and on vacations!

As well as selling my prints through Etsy (http://emelephotography.etsy.com/)
I also sell my photography as home decor and gift items at Zazzle (http://www.zazzle.com/emele1) where you can buy cards, magnets, keychains, mousepads and so much more with my photos on!

MaruMaru

I just returned from beautiful Las Vegas. Wow wow, wow! I was so inspired by the amazing lights and colours. Everything is so super grand and alive in Vegas! It is extremely energizing to be a part of the Las Vegas life. I can't wait to create something. I think that my next piece will definitely reflect the glamour and the glitz of Vegas!

These gorgeous pieces by MaruMaru would look lovely worn in Vegas or anywhere!
Check out MaruMaru's beautifully glamorous pieces at http://www.marumaru.etsy.com/.

Hi! My name is Michelle and I graduated last year with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Japanese. I opened up my shop 2 years ago on Etsy which was when I began making jewelry. Now that I have finished school, I have too much time on my hands! I started liking jewelry when I began working in the jewelry department at a well-known retail store. At first, I didn't see what the big hype was over jewelry until I would stand for hours at a time and become anxious to try a few things on. When I wasn't helping customers, I was trying on jewelry whenever I could and soon enough I put everything I liked on hold so nobody could buy them! I'm really picky about jewelry, so whenever I'd buy a necklace, I'd use my pliers to take off or add parts to it to make it just right. I'm inspired by fantasies from when I was a child. I wanted everything to be in pink and blue like cotton candy, ride on a unicorn and eat ice cream all day long. My grandmother owns a very large land in Japan and made it into beautiful garden that is now a popular tourist attraction. I would spend my childhood in her garden looking at blue Hydrangeas wishing I could take it all back home with me.
In my shop, you will see lots of flowers from rose cameos to Czech flower beads.MaruMaru.etsy.com is an online boutique that features retro and vintage style jewelry from flower cabochons and 70s kitsch to cute owl charms. I love vintage-inspired and retro charms, and absolutely cannot live without color. I wanted my shop to reflect this, so I started using origami papers I had lying around to use as backgrounds. When I'm not playing around in my jewelry supply box, I'm at the movies or drinking champagne!

A Cozy Cluttered Corner

I absolutely love oo0oSUGARo0oo 's name. I think it is a perfect fit to her sweet and
delectable creations. If you are looking for a burst of colour and happiness...be sure to visit her shop.

by oo0oSUGARo0oo

"I create in a really cluttered, but cozy room, a corner of my bedroom. It is not nicely decorated like many rooms of designers or artists but it works for me. My working table is always full of materials whether I am working on my fabric cutwork or making beaded jewellery. To be honest, I never grew up having my bedroom nice and tidy. I was never proud of it. But I do feel better when I went to art school and found out that many creative people are the same and that I am not just very lazy. (or maybe I am? Hahaha…)

Ilove to wear and make my own jewellery when I was in high school so I got into university for jewellery design. But during second year, I realized that I have no interest in making silversmith jewellery. I found out that I need to see more colours so I switched my major to fibre art and start working with paper and fabric in rainbow colours. I love to draw flowers, leaves, plants, fruits, anything organic.

I also like to do pattern design. The flower and bird patterns of my fabric cutworks all came from my line drawings.
Many of my inspiration come from wondering in the park, staring at plants, flowers, and tree, and more, daydreaming about colours, and much much more.Right now, my goal is to create things that would add a fresh, happy and bright colour whether at home on the wall, against a person’s skin, or on any wearable items."

The Great Outdoors Studio! Imagine!

Visit http://www.laurieryan.etsy.com/

Laurie Ryan's Studio
Imagine having the whole outdoors as your studio. Now that's a lot of space! Imagine the kind of organization you would need. Good thing Mother Nature does that! Laurie loves creating outdoors. Take a peek into her amazing studio!

I've been taking photographs ever since I was a young girl using an old brownie box camera. Photographs are important to me as that is how we keep precious memories alive. I love capturing the beauty of nature also and sharing it with other people. I've had 30 years experience with a 35mm film camera starting with an canon ae1, I still have that camera by the way and still use it every now and then.

I love being out in nature taking pretty images. I love the water and being around it and that reflects in my images as well. Plus I just love birds and flowers. I love making gifts out of my images, I make cards, tote bags, t shirts and the like.
My favorite quote comes from George Washington Carver when he would tell his students. "Make do with what you have".

Behind The White Door! or "Going into the closet!"

Here are some new items behind the red door.
You've seen what is behind my red door.
Here is what is behind the white door!
Check out Soap Sense. I loooove Dana's creative use of space!

Soap Sense
"Behind the White Door."

My Etsy shop, SoapSense, is relatively new, although I have been making cold processed soap for many years. Last weekend, I set aside several hours to organize my soap-making ingredient closet. The top shelf is fragrances and essential oils to make the soaps smell wonderful! The middle shelf stores every skin-nourishing oil imaginable. The bottom is miscellaneous ingredients from salts, to dried flower petals, to crushed seeds.
My favorite soap making steps are creating recipes, and unmolding that latest batch of soap to see how it turned out.
Thanks for creating this unique feature...I have enjoyed looking at everyone else's workspace too!
